As a vital member of our dental practice, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating flexibility in your daily tasks and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning procedures with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. Administer preventive treatments, such as fluoride and sealants, tailored to each patient’s needs. Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatments performed and patient interactions. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and lifestyle choices that promote optimal dental health. Stay adaptable to changes in daily schedule based on family commitments, accommodating schedule shifts to ensure effective patient care. Assist the dental team with various tasks as required, including taking radiographs and supporting special procedures, emphasizing a cooperative and flexible attitude. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with infection control protocols. Qualifications: Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program. Valid NY licensure and certification in dental hygiene practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work with a flexible schedule that aligns with family needs, without the requirement for nights or weekends.
